Little Birdies

My friend hired me to make her baby blanket for her nursery. Her theme is birds. She gave me some great fabrics to work with. The large center of the quilt is flannel, the inner squares border has mixed cotton and vintage chenille, and the back is minky. After I was done, I couldn't help but make her a pillow to go with it and add the little birdie on the bottom. I really like how this quilt turned out and I love how all the colors and textures of the quilt go together.
